It’s loads of colour and fun with roundabouts, arches and fountains to navigate and the new drivers wave to their family on the sidelines. They drive around small-scale replicas of Western Town and Main Street. They learn some road safety and rules of the road and hit the streets in mini cars. Junior Driving School is a multi-million dollar attraction and the little ones love posing for a photograph to obtain their very own driver’s licence. There’s a carousel, Tweety Cages, the Sam Train, Speedy’s Taxis and Pounce and Bounce – all guaranteed to give lots of pleasure. It’s themed on Looney Tunes cartoons and has a Road Runner Rollercoaster. THE KIDS’ WB! FUN ZONE This is an entire section of the park just for children. It’s one of the fastest thrill rides you will ever experience. GREEN LANTERN This little beauty gives fun and thrills of galactic proportion as you take on the steepest inverted drop in the Southern Hemisphere.īATWING SPACESHOT If you fancy being shot 60 metres into the sky with 4.5Gs of power, this is the ride for you. They may be lurking behind the next turn. Be ready to face The Joker, Harley Quinn and Killer Croc, infamous villains from the Batman series. Just look up in the sky and it’s Superman! 760 metres of vertical climbs, weightless drops, head spinning twists and giant G-force turns make one ride never seem to be enough.ĪRKHAM ASYLUM This high-voltage thrill ride travels up to 85km/h with thrill-seekers harnessed into a train featuring on-board audio. SUPERMAN ESCAPE This thrilling rollercoaster takes you to 100km/h in just 2 seconds. There are street skits and singing performances and the All-Star Parade has characters on movie-themed floats. Meet Batman, Austin Powers, Marilyn Monroe, Scooby-Doo and Shaggy and various Looney Tunes characters. Movie-themed rides range from motion simulators to slow river rides.Ĭostumed character performers patrol the park and pose for pictures with visitors. It’s crammed with characters, music, film sets, amazing rides and loads of other attractions. Movie World is about to turn 25 and it’s a firm favourite for anyone looking for a little bit of magic. Anyone who’s ever visited Queensland’s Gold Coast knows it’s the Theme Park capital of Australia. Charli loves it and says there’s enough fun to be had there to get the adrenalin pumping for weeks.
